Everything is connected
(Berlin, 09.07.2020) Everything is connected. Once again, this showed in a questionnaire that our managing directors had to fill out. One of the questions: Which organisation published their first newsletter on the 21st of June in 2000 - The International Organisation for ...? The answer was: Standardization. It is better known under the short name ISO, and houses the quality standard ISO9001:2015, according to which DaPhi has been certified for a long time now. However, back in those days this connection did not yet exist. But on that very day the computer science students Philipp Krey and Daniel Strobl founded the company DaPhi for their first common project. Reason enough to fill out this questionnaire twenty years later as a key to their employees' anniversary present.
Both were rewarded with a cake displaying the famous DaPhi footprint (a tribute to comic figure Daffy from the Bugs Bunny series), a daily newspaper of the historical day, some historical programming books, as well as two deck chairs from which they could listen to the eulogy of their employees. The company name, which of course is a combination of the first names, was charged here with special additional meaning. D for dynamic, A for sincere (no translation with an A-word possible, sorry!), P for productive, H for harmonious and I for innovative. The whole thing got immortalized in wood. A gesture that also emphasizes the focus on sustainability that DaPhi has been pursuing for years.
Over the past twenty years, the fiddling about pre-paid internet access in Germany´s first hostel has developed into a successful IT system house with 24 employees and currently three trainees, serving customers throughout Europe. Perhaps this success story can also be linked to the quality standards we set ourselves. Everything is connected!
