A good basis
(Berlin, 11.03.2019) "The annual exchange at the ITB Berlin is quite exceptional", DaPhi Managing Director Philipp Krey sums up the so far 16th active participation in the world's largest tourism fair, which ended on Sunday with another record number of visitors. 113,500 trade visitors and a total of 160,000 visitors found their way into the Berlin exhibition halls. Some of them also in hall 4.1., which accommodated, beside our booth, the ITB show stage, as well as the new market place Technology, Tours & Activities.
The new marketplace shows which new technologies are changing tourism. Among other things, it is about apps and city guides that use the Internet. Some of these new offers will probably be booked in the WI-FI of one or the other hotel, which DaPhi takes care of. "An interesting development," says Philipp Krey. "The foundation of these new trends is in any case a well-functioning Internet connection, which we are currently securing in just over 70 hotels throughout Europe. A good basis for a new ITB appearance of DaPhi next year.
